INVESTIGATIONS INTO UNKNOWN ILLNESS CONTINUE AT CLOSED WEE WAA HIGH

Wee Waa High School students remain in limbo, after the school was closed indefinitely last month due to an unknown illness.

A number of students and staff developed allergy symptoms in early November, prompting the Department of Education to shut down the campus.

The students have since been undertaking their studies at the nearby primary school.

The high school will remain closed until further notice, while demountables will be installed at the primary school for science and technology subjects.

The cause of the illness is believed to be mould-related.
