INAUGURAL RONALD McDONALD CHARITY GOLF DAY TO TEE OFF ON FRIDAY

Tamworth golfers will hit the green for an important cause this week.

More than 100 players have registered to take part in the inaugural Ronald McDonald House Charity Golf Day.

The charity is aiming to raise enough funding to cover 220 nights of accommodation for families with sick children.

“The team have organised a rolling tee, so we won’t have masses of people congregating around, obviously. But, they all get fed, they get some drinks, we’ve got a few fundraising activities there as well, so there’s a bit of fun. Just really looking forward to seeing everyone.”

Tee-off is at 8am at Tamworth Golf Club on Friday.
