A man is being treated at Gold Coast University Hospital after his car slammed into a tree west of Mullumbimby last night.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the crash at Goonengerry at 7 o’clock, where the 40-year-old driver was placed into a medically induced coma before being airlifted to hospital.
He’s in a serious condition.
