HOLDEN TORANA PREDICTED TO CRACK THE $1 MILLION MARK AT AUCTION

A Holden Torana from the 1970s looks set to become one of the most expensive Australian cars ever sold.

The 1977 Holden LX Torana was raced by John Harvey and it’s expected to fetch more than $1 million when it goes under the hammer at Lloyds Auctions this Saturday.

It’s currently standing at a bid of $695,000.

The car is in good nick.

It comes with racing equipment including spare wheels, helmet, boots, jacket and racing records.

The car won a number of races – coming third overall in the 1979 Australian Touring Car Championship.
