LOCAL SCHOOLS WIN CASH IN PHOTO COMPETITION

Two local schools have been awarded cash prizes in a Department of Education photo competition.

Taree West Public won $2500 for first place in the Primary school category, and Bowraville Central claimed just over a $1000 after finishing equal second in the Central schools category.

The “Looking Through our Window” rural and remote photo competition aims to celebrate the uniqueness of learning in a rural area.
