A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an alleged home invasion and assault in Lake Macqaurie on Sunday.
Police have been told two males went to a house party on Codrington Street at Barnsley on Sunday evening, but left after they were allegedly involved in a fight with another 17-year-old.
Later the pair returned to the home on two separate occasions – allegedly assaulting the teenager.
Police were called at around 12:40pm, but the pair had already taken off in a car.
A 17-year-old boy was charged earlier this week in relation to the incident.
The 28-year-old will appear before Newcastle Local Court today.
