A Hunter cyclist is riding an hundreds of kilometres for a very special cause.
Diagnosed with Arthrogryposis when he was born, Adam Caddy is taking on The Great Cycle Challenge Australia, despite living with the disability, which affects his legs.
Now more than halfway through the challenge, Adam is dedicating the ride to 7-month old Archer, who has Undifferentiated Sarcoma, a rare cancer.
“My goal is 400km. I’m doing this on a pedal assist e-bike but it’s still a struggle. I have always worn long pants to cover up my disability but if showing the world my legs to do this for Archer than I’m more than happy to do so.”
