BALLINA FOOTBALL CLUB HIT WITH $5000 FINE FOR COVID-19 BREACHES

The Ballina Seagulls rugby league clubs has been hit with a $5,000 fine for public health order breaches during the NRRRL grand final.

Police say they observed people not being counted as they entered the ground, and estimated more than 1000 were in attendance.

The Under 18’s game was suspended while 500 people were ordered to leave.
