LISMORE MAN CHARGED OVER PETROL STATION ARMED ROBBERY

A man has been charged after allegedly robbing a Lismore petrol station with a pistol in the early hours of this morning.

Police say the 27-year-old fled the scene with a large sum of money, before he was arrested in a nearby taxi.

A gel blaster replica gun was located.

He’s been refused bail to appear at Lismore Local Court tomorrow.
