Maitland’s Regional Sports Complex has undergone a $10.5 million makeover, to become a multi-purpose arena.
The redevelopment includes a world athletics certified synthetic track, playing field, floodlights, a 560 person grandstand, as well as other amenities.
The additions are designed to benefit not only local athletes, but the wider community, including people with disabilities.

The works were jointly funded by Maitland Council and the state government.
