GAV’S WEATHER | LA NINA WEATHER PATTERN BEGINS

A large cloud band stretches across the country; this is very typical of a La Nina weather pattern.

When atmospheric conditions are right, large amounts of moisture will be drawn from the tropical to central Eastern Australia.

The system extended across central Australia will continue to deliver large amounts of water to the Territory, South Australia and south-west New South Wales.

Victoria also has plenty more rain on the way this week. Very little to nothing will reach us.

The cooler, southerly change will reach the Central Coast and Greater Hunter helping to drop temperatures and produce an overcast day.

Further north it will remain fine and warm and mostly sunny.
