Edward John Saffin has failed to have his sentence reduced for raping a 19-year-old man five years ago near Lismore.
Saffin was jailed for at least nine years and four months in 2017 – but his solicitors appealed claiming the judge didn’t consider his autism and ADHD at the time.
He will remain behind bars until at least August 2025.
