The NSW Rural Fire Service has issued its first total fire ban of the season for the far north coast, with warm, windy and dry conditions today.
Other regions, including North Coast, Greater Hunter, New England and Northern Slopes are also being warned to expect a “very high” danger.
It’s reminding people to work out their bushfire survival plan.
Experts have warned upcoming rains may not be enough to avoid another catastrophic bushfire season.
