Those who helped raise money for ‘Our Kids’ – a charity for Lismore Base Hospital’s Childrens Ward have been recognised for their efforts.
Despite the Darrel Chapman Fun Run moving online this year, fundraising was successful.
“Last year we made a profit of $18,000 from the Darrel Chapman Fun Run, and this year we made an extraordinary profit of $41,000,” Our Kids Fundraising Coordinator, Rebekka Battista, said.
Ms Battista says the group will be looking at making a hybrid event next year, offering runners to complete the fun run either at the event or online again.
