A police pursuit went wrong in Tamworth last night after a car – believed to be stolen- crashed.
Officers spotted the Toyota Camry shortly after 10.30 last night and began a chase.
It was later seen on Robert Street when the driver lost control and crashed the vehicle into a roundabout before slamming into a power pole.
The male driver ran from the scene.
