TWO COVID-19 TESTING CLINICS CLOSED TODAY

COVID-19 testing clinics at Tomaree and Newcastle University will be affected today, due to concerns for dangerous weather.

Hunter New England Health announced the Newcastle University testing clinic will close at 2pm, and the Tomaree clinic will be closed for the entire day.

Those who are booked in at University Drive will be able to have their appointment rescheduled.

Anyone booked at the Tomaree drive-through clinic can have their swab taken at Tomaree Community Hospital, from 9am-3pm today.

People are still able to attend clinics at John Hunter, Belmont, and Calvary Mater Newcastle hospitals, or any of the privately run testing clinics at Tomaree, Adamstown and Warners Bay.
