Police are investigating a head-on crash on the Pacific Highway south of Ballina yesterday.
Emergency serviced were called to the incident just after 5:30pm at East Wardell.
Five people were injured – three seriously – after a Mercedes sedan and Kia Cerato collided.
The 56-year-old male Mercedes driver was taken to Grafton Base Hospital for treatment of a fractured pelvis and mandatory testing.
