BUSHFIRE ASSISTANCE FOR FARMERS EXTENDED UNTIL DECEMBER

Farmers affected in last summer’s horrific bushfire season will continue to have access to critical financial support.

The State Government announcing it will extend its Special Disaster Grant program until December 15.

The intiative has so far aided more than 250 New England farmers, covering repair costs for damaged infrastructure.

“The eligibility criteria has been relaxed and extended, which means many more farmers across New South Wales will now be eligible for this grant, who were previously ruled ineligible.”

Eligible landholders can apply for support by visiting the New South Wales Rural Assistance Authority website.
