EAST COAST LOW MOVES SOUTH | GAV’S WEATHER

It’s an impressive system off the southern NSW coast the low is now well formed.

Heavy down pours have been accumulating 200 to 300mm on the south coast though out the afternoon.

Elsewhere across the nation it is largely calm and clear.

Tomorrow the low will weaken and pull away from the coast.

The heavy rain on the south coast will ease. Showers will still affect the Central Coast, Newcastle region along with strengthening WSW winds.

This will allow more swell to track up the coast causing more coastal erosion mostly for the Central Coast.

Some wet weather in the form of showers will reach areas as far north as Barraba to Nambucca.

It will remain fine north of this point with partly cloudy skies being mostly blue for Northern Rivers and Gold Coast areas.
