Efforts to repair the rapidly deteriorating coastline at Wamberal continue today, after a huge swell exacerbated erosion last week.
Council crews are working to try and secure roads near the beach, where more than 40 homes are teetering on the edge – some having partially collapsed.
Residents have been told they likely won’t be able to return to their homes for at least four weeks, as the situation is too treacherous.
