ARMIDALE’S DEPUTY MAYOR LIBBY MARTIN RESIGNS

Armidale Council’s Deputy Mayor has resigned from her duties.

Libby Martin was in the midst of serving her first term in the role, when all ten councillors were suspended last month.

It comes just 24 hours after the Council’s CEO, Susan Law, also tendered her resignation.

The reason behind Ms Martin’s decision is yet to be confirmed.
