BRADMAN BEST EXCLUDED FROM KNIGHTS SQUAD AFTER MISTAKENLY BREACHING NRL PROTOCOLS

Bradman Best has been left out of the Knights squad to take on the Cowboys, after visiting his parents’ home over the weekend without clearance – a breach of NRL guidelines.

Several changes to protocols were announced on Saturday, allowing players to gain approval to visit family members.

Best reported the mistake after some confusion and has been told to isolate for seven days.

Enari Tuala and Gehamat Shibaskai will instead line up in the centres for what is now the NRL’s longest road trip.
