A new Optus telecommunication tower has been switched on at Old Bar Reserve.
The tower provides mobile and wireless broadband services on the 2G, 3G and 4G networks.
Its construction was completed a year after it was approved by Mid Coast Council.
Optus also recently switched on a telecommunication tower in Taree in May 2019 to improve coverage along Old Bar road and the Pacific Highway.
