NO COMMUNITY-TRANSMITTED CORONAVIRUS CASES IN NSW FOR TWO WEEKS

An incredible achievement in New South Wales: not a single case of coronavirus has been transmitted within the community for two weeks, the incubation period of the virus.

The state recorded three new cases in the past 24 hours, but all were returned travellers in hotel quarantine.

There are no COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in an ICU.

It comes as the state’s Sports Minister, Geoff Lee, told 2GB’s Ben Fordham this morning that all community sport, for all ages, will be back on July 1.
