ISOLATED COASTAL SHOWERS TO INCREASE

The country is mostly sunny and dry. The clear skies inland are making for cold nights. Along the coast, the stronger southerly winds and cloud cover are making it cold with showers from Newcastle to Port Macquarie blowing in on Monday afternoon.
A massive high now sits over the region but is on the move. As the high squeezes into the Tasman, the onshore coastal winds will become more direct and help increase the coastal cloud cover which in turn will create increased shower activity. It will remain fine inland west of the Divide with slight milder temperatures.
