FARMERS RESPOND AFTER GOVERNMENT DECISION TO ABANDON BIOSECURITY LEVY

The New South Wales Farmers Association says it’s disappointed the federal government won’t be slapping a biosecurity levy on imports.

The levy, first announced in 2018, was expected to generate an additional $100-million in offshore protection.
