FIRST FLIGHTS TAKE OFF BETWEEN TAMWORTH AND MELBOURNE

The first flights between Tamworth and Melbourne have taken off this week.

FlyCorporate’s so-called “milk run” service runs on Mondays and Thursdays, transporting only 16 passengers under COVID-19 restrictions.

The flight takes around two hours, with stopovers in Dubbo and Orange.

It’s part of a deal with the federal government to maintain regional connections during the pandemic.
