A man will front court today following an alleged domestic stabbing attack on the Central Coast.
Police were called to a home on Melissa Street at Green Point, at 5:30 yesterday morning, where they found a woman with a stab wound to the neck.
She was treated at Gosford Hospital and has since been released.
A few hours later, police arrested the woman’s partner at a home on Ocean Beach Road at Woy Woy.
The 23-year-old was taken to Woy Woy Police Station where it’s alleged he punched one officer in the head and struck another in the chest.
He was charged with multiple offences; including one count of causing grievous bodily harm and two counts of assault police.
He was refused bail and will re-appear at Newcastle Local Court later today.
