Testing is being ramped up on the New Intercity Fleet, with the first two trains now travelling around the network.
Once the service commences later this year – it will provide transport across the Central Coast, Newcastle, South Coast and Blue Mountains.
The new network and the construction of the maintenance facility at Kangy Angy, has helped create around 1,600 local jobs.
