OXLEY POLICE TO HEAVILY PATROL CAMPSITES THIS EASTER WEEKEND

Oxley Police are reinforcing their Easter message for Tamworth residents to STAY HOME.

Travel is strictly limited to supermarket visits and fitness or medical needs.

Anyone travelling without a good reason, including visiting family or friends, could face fines up to $11,000.

Police will also be sending patrols out, to keep a close eye on campsites.

“Police right across the district have certainly been daily tasked to areas where we know that people might flock to, particularly at this time of year. So, expect to see patrols, mobile and foot, of police right across our region looking around those areas.”
