MARINERS PLAYERS STOOD DOWN

And in what has quickly become a domino effect, the Mariners have followed Adelaide United and stood down their players as the economic pinch of the coronavirus pandemic hits.

In a statement the club said the move was made to help preserve a future for the club in the A-League.

All players have been returned to their families for the time being until April 22.
