VIRGIN FLIGHTS SUSPENDED AT NEWCASTLE AIRPORT

Virgin Australia will suspend all of its Newcastle Airport flights from midnight on Friday.

The move comes as the airline cuts 90 per cent of its domestic travel.

Virgin normally operates flights between Newcastle, and Brisbane and Melbourne.

They’ll be grounded until June 14.

Jetstar, Qantas, Regional Express and FlyPelican are still flying, for those whose travel is essential.
