Police are asking the public to help them identify a man who allegedly approached an 8-year-old girl in Scone last night.
The young girl told officers she was in the front yard of her home when a man got out of a red ute and grabbed her by the wrist at 6 o’clock.
The child was able to pull herself away and run inside, where she told her mother.
It’s understood the man immediately left in his car.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a thin build, aged about 40, and has short brown hair and a tattoo on his right hand.
He was wearing a red shirt and green shorts.
