MAJOR MUSIC FESTIVALS POSTPONED AND CANCELLED

Splendour in the Grass and Groovin in the Moo are both affected by the federal governments ban on public gatherings of more than 500 people.

Splendour in the Grass is postponed to October, while Groovin in the Moo is cancelled due to coronavirus concerns.

It’s the first time in Groovin in the Moo’s 15 year history the event will not take place.

GTM organisers, Cattleyard Promotions said the festival is “unable to reschedule the 2020 events due to the uncertainty surrounding how long the ban will be in place for.”

Ticketholders will be able to access a complete refund, or can hold onto their ticket, which will remain valid for Groovin The Moo 2021.

Splendour in the Grass festival’s 20th anniversary will now be held on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of October.

In a statement, Splendour in the Grass said “Flume, The Strokes and Tyler, the creator have all confirmed their attendance for the new dates.

Ticket holders for the event who are unable to attend the new dates can apply for a refund.
