MAN DIES AFTER HORRIFIC CAR CRASH AT TOMAGO

A 75-year-old man has died after a crash between two cars at Tomago yesterday.

Emergency services were called to Tomago Road just before 1pm to find several people seriously injured after a Mitsubishi ASX and Izuzu D-Max collided.

The Mitsubishi driver died at the scene, while the Izuzu driver, a 32-year-old man, was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital after being found with serious internal injuries.

Two women aged 66 and 26 and a 2-year-old boy had minor injuries, and were taken to John Hunter Hospital.

The cause of the crash is now being investigated by police.
