There was tragedy on Brisbane Water yesterday afternoon when a man drowned while trying to swim out to his yacht.
The 46-year-old entered the water near Masons Parade, just after 4 o’clock.
A short time later he was seen struggling in the water.
Emergency services tried to revive him; but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
