TEENAGE BOY CHARGED OVER BREAK-INS AND THEFT

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with breaking into homes and stealing cars in northern New South Wales.

It comes after several properties and vehicles at Kingscliff and Casuarina were broken into on March 24 and 25 last year – thieves making off with two Audis and a Landcruiser.

The teenager is one of 20 people charged as part of Operation Marauder.

He’s been refused bail over more than a dozen offences, including larceny, fraud, disposing of stolen property, and driving unlicensed.

He faced Tweed Heads Court for the first time today.
