A 17-year-old has been charged with a string of offences, relating to home and vehicle break-ins.
It comes after a spike in thefts around Kingscliff and Casuarina in March last year.
Officers have since charged 20 people with the latest arrest coming yesterday after the teenager handed himself into police.
He faced Tweed Heads Children Court today with the case adjourned until April.
