Central, western Australia has mostly clear skies, but there’s a a Cyclone in the Gulf.
Cyclone Esther has crossed the coast today. Cyclone Ferdinand will remain offshore for now.
There is a large amount of moisture over eastern Australia; this will make for cloudy local skies, with more rain to come.
Rain, heavy at times, is returning to north-east New South Wales with the potential of localised flash flooding from the Coffs to Tweed coast.
Isolated showers will affect the Tablelands, with smaller accumulations expected across the north-west and Greater Hunter.
Another cloudy day is on the way, with widespread showers.
The potential for heavy rain at times will continue across the north-east corner of New South Wales from the Coffs Coast, and Dorrigo Plateau to the Gold Coast region.
Mostly fine inland across the north-west.
