Tamworth’s elderly community enjoyed a day out today at the annual “Seniors Festival”.
The event encouraging residents to learn about what services are available to them in the city.
Home care facilities, the CWA and the Salvation Army were all on site.
Guests received tips on gardening and fitness, while also enjoying time with friends.
“It’s all about “loving your later life”, so we’ve pulled together lots of great activities, people can come along and hear lots of interesting speakers. It’s a really great opportunity for seniors in the Tamworth community to get to know what other activities are out there.”
