Emergency services were called to a home on Tingira Street at Coledale yesterday, after reports a fire had broken out.
Just before 1pm, firefighters commenced a rescue operation following concerns that children were trapped inside the burning home.
They soon gave the property the all clear.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
