GAV’S WEATHER | RAIN ON THE WAY

The storms in the tropics are going to intensify further, dumping more heavy, flooding rain.

The trough in the east will flare up once again with more storms, heavy downpours and isolated flash flooding over Queensland. Some of that activity will begin to spill across the border into northern New South Wales.

Rain will start building in the far north, and begin to move south across the broadcast region during the end of the day and into the evening, as a full week of rain begins.

The rain will intensify over the weekend and into early next week.

The risk of flooding will begin in south east Queensland, before moving south to the Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast from early next week.
