The ground was broken on the construction of a new hospital in Murrurundi today.
The 304 million dollar facility will host a number of services under the one roof, including a 24 hour emergency department.
Murrurundi Wilson Memorial Hospital will operate in the meantime.
The project is set to be complete early next year.
