It was just before 11.30 this morning when the Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded to a mountain bike accident at Ourimbah.
After arrival, a 40-year-old man was found injured, and was treated on scene.
The man was later flown to the John Hunter Hospital with possible head injuries.
In a separate incident, a second patient was transported to hospital by road with possible fractured ribs.
