While rain has been welcomed across the region, the weather has impacted the Women’s World Gliding Championships.
Yesterday’s final day of racing was cancelled, bringing forward the closing ceremony.
Team France took home the gold medal, followed by Great Britain with silver and Italy with bronze.
Despite some impressive individual performances throughout – Australia finished in eighth position.
