The Hunter’s Aaron Townsend has taken out the third Golf Blitz series, which features unique playing formats, including rounds that get shorter as the stakes get higher and plenty of interaction with the fans.
“It’s an interesting format, there’s a lot of hurdles you have to jump over and I must’ve jumped over just enough.”
Townsend won $12,000 after finishing as the leading money earner across three tournaments, including a win at Hope Island on the Gold Coast.
