SCOTT BURKINSHAW SELECTED IN COUNTRY SIDE

After taking 14 wickets for New South Wales, including four for 38 against Queensland, Lisarow’s Scott Burkinshaw has been selected in the Australian Country side.

It’s his third baggy green and his first since 2015, but he had a nervous wait – the 11th and final name read out during a gala ceremony in Toowoomba.

The 25-year-old will be back in action this weekend, looking for an outright win over arch rivals Narara at Gavenlock Oval.
