Tamworth’s Fitzroy Street is getting a bit of a spruce-up.
Five so-called ‘living umbrellas’ will be unveiled in time for the Country Music Festival.
It comes after Council installed four Chinesee elm trees last September, to provide more shaded areas.
It’s invested $4.5-million upgrading the street since May 2017.
Lighting and public art could be next on the list.
