A man’s been charged with firing a shotgun and intimidating his neighbours at Mingoola, near Tenterfield.

On Thursday last week, two men were hunting feral pigs on their property when they reported hearing a man yelling and firing rounds nearby.

Then on Saturday night, at around 6.30, police responded to reports the same man had entered the property with a shotgun.

A 60-year-old suspect was charged with stalking and possession of an unauthorised weapon.

He’s been refused bail.
