Byron Bay Police were pleased with the behaviour at this year’s Falls Festival, after recording slightly fewer offences than usual.
But Police say there was one dangerous substance that grew in popularity.
“This year we saw more people arrested in possession of MDMA. Obviously that’s a concern to us given it increases people’s body heat, and with the hot conditions it really is quite a concern for us.”
Total drug detections came in at 50, with one supply offence.
